MULTIPLY in that verse is the Greek word 'plēthynō' which is the origin of our English word 'plethora'!!! Plethora means over abundance, excess and too much!!! PLETHORA RECEIVING MODE!
So God is going to give us seed to sow and then he is going to return it to us in over abundance, excess and too much! Glory!!! That is exciting for the sower - that is the key, you have to not just think about sowing and pray about sowing but you actually have to actually SOW as an action!!! PLETHORA RECEIVING MODE!
A very important ingredient on sowing is found in vs. 7 where God clearly tells us that we cannot give grudgingly but rather we must be a cheerful giver.
When you see that bucket come down the aisle and you have your offering (which is above the 10% tithe), be ready, willing and able with a hearty smile to sow it!!! God can also lay it on our hearts to be a blessing to someone by sowing into their life, and do it the same way - ready, willing and able with a hearty smile. PLETHORA RECEIVING MODE!
By sowing in that manner, you are giving God the green light to give back to you in over abundance, excess and too much! PLETHORA RECEIVING MODE!
